The Eastern CT region’s two (2) Councils of Government ~ the Southeastern CT Council of Governments (SCCOG), and the Northeastern CT Council of Governments (NECCOG), appoint members of the 5-person EWIB Council of Chief Elected Officials (CEOs), who then appoint the volunteer 25-member EWIB Board of Directors. Private sector representatives maintain the majority of Board seats (as mandated by WIOA), with the remainder filled by representatives from state & regional agencies, organized labor, and local educational institutions.
